Hello!

I’m Sam Adams.

My name is Sam Adams, and I’m the creator of the Three Pillar Life System™. I’m not a therapist. I’m not a motivational speaker. I’m someone who spent years lost in trauma, addiction, and emotional chaos — and who had to build, from the ground up, a new way to live. I created this system because I needed it to survive. And once it saved my life, I knew it could help others do the same.

Survival to Leadership.

There was a time in my life when everything felt heavy, disconnected, and impossible to name. I grew up inside a pattern of loss — losing father figures to abandonment, betrayal, tragedy, and grief — before I even had the language to process what any of it meant.

As I got older, I tried to outrun the weight of those experiences. For years, I leaned on alcohol, relationships, and distraction to get through. But none of it helped me understand the deeper truth: that I didn’t need more noise — I needed a way to come home to myself.

That search for healing is what eventually led me to the work I do now. Through studying Internal Family Systems, exploring the science of cognitive behavioral change, and completing my certification with the Self Leadership Coaching Academy, I slowly built the foundation I had always needed.

The Three Pillar Life System™ was born from that process. Not as a product — but as a lifeline. A way of reconnecting to myself, and now, a way I help others do the same.

My Beliefs.

  • I believe healing starts when we stop judging ourselves and begin listening to the parts of us that are simply trying to protect us — even when they show up in painful ways.

  • I believe honesty isn’t harsh — it’s freeing. And that living in alignment with our truth creates the quiet kind of peace that doesn’t depend on anyone else.

  • I believe happiness isn’t something to chase. It’s something we return to when our inner world feels safe, seen, and led with compassion.

  • I believe people aren’t broken. They’re often just carrying pain they haven’t had the tools to process — and once they do, everything changes.

  • I believe real change doesn’t come from being told what to do, but from learning how to lead ourselves through life with clarity and care.

  • I believe that no matter how far someone feels from themselves, there’s always a way back — and that way is built through relationship, not control.

My Approach

The work I do isn’t about giving advice or fixing problems. It’s about helping you create a relationship with yourself that’s strong enough to carry you through anything.

My approach is patient, present, and personal. I use a structured model rooted in Internal Family Systems and Self-Leadership principles — but I always begin with where you are right now.

Together, we’ll slow down enough to really hear what your internal world is asking for. From that place, we’ll build something steady: a system of self-trust, emotional clarity, and leadership you can return to for the rest of your life.

Why I created this System.

The Three Pillar Life System™ wasn’t built in a lab or drafted as a business plan. It was shaped slowly, over years of personal struggle, grief, learning, and healing.

I created it because I couldn’t find what I needed. Therapy helped, but it wasn’t structured. Coaching gave me direction, but it didn’t go deep enough. Books were helpful until the next breakdown hit — and then I was back to square one.

What I needed — and what I built — was something that could hold both the emotional reality of pain and the practical structure for change. Something that could guide people out of confusion and back into connection with themselves.

The system was born from my own story, but it’s not about me anymore. It’s for the people I work with now — people navigating loss, addiction, identity questions, infidelity, anxiety, burnout, or just that quiet feeling of being completely unmoored.

This work exists because I believe in your ability to lead yourself.
You don’t need to be perfect. You just need a system — and the right relationship to walk you through it.

Is coaching right for me?

You don’t have to be in crisis to do this work. You just have to be ready to stop living at war with yourself.

This system is right for you if you’re looking for something deeper than surface change — something that gives you language for what’s happening inside, and a way forward that actually feels sustainable.

You might be carrying grief. You might be working through addiction, betrayal, identity shifts, or emotional overwhelm. Or maybe you’re just tired of feeling like you don’t really know you.

If any part of you is ready to lead instead of chase — to build something steady, clear, and self-led — this system will meet you where you are, and walk with you from there.
